The 2nd IVR Japan International Conference was initially scheduled in 2020 and later postponed to 2022. Given border restrictions placed in many countries including Japan, which are due to the persistent COVID-19 pandemic, members of the organizing committee painfully reached the conclusion that the safest choice is to postpone the conference until 2023, when it is expected that a large face-to-face meeting will be more possible than 2022. This is because the members believe that an onsite meeting has great values that cannot be conveyed by any online meeting. The new call for papers and panels is to be released in the beginning of 2023 at the latest. Thank you for your understanding. (January 15, 2022)
